A public healing service is offered every third Saturday of the month at 5 p.m. at Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church, 188 Elliott St., Danvers. The service includes musical worship, a short teaching, Holy Communion and an extended time of personal prayer if requested. A priest will be available to hear confessions. There will be a gluten- and alcohol-free station at the communion rail. The Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn presents its annual Music Sunday worship service on April 14 at 10 a.m. This year?s service features excerpts from Johann Sebastian Bach?s ?Cantata 150: Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich.? The UUCGL choir and vocal soloists will be accompanied by an ensemble of strings, bassoon, harpsichord and organ. The public is invited to attend. On the second Sunday of each month, members and friends of Maple Street Congregational Church will collect food and essential items for the Danvers food pantry. The Girls Book Club is a free program of the Robert I. Lappin Charitable Foundation and funded in part by an allocation from the Jewish Federation of the North Shore. Girls ages 9 to 12 and mothers are invited to participate in club, featuring a series of books that focus on the lives and adventures of American Jewish girls. The club will meet on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:15 p.m. at Putnam Pantry, Route 1 north, Danvers, on June 5, Oct. 2 and Dec. 11. Attendance at all sessions is encouraged but not required. The Hamilton-Wenham Public Library presents ?Inspirational Evenings? featuring Jorgelina Zeoli?s video series titled ?Miracles,? which incorporates Zeoli?s two autobiographical films about healing from trauma through self-awareness, spirituality, music and art. Book signings and videotaped discussions with holistic practitioners, trauma survivors and members of different faiths will follow both films.
