The award is timely as Royal Jet gears up for its 10th year anniversary next year which was announced at the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) 2012 held at the Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai World Central between 11-13 December.
"The World Travel Awards is regarded as the 'Oscars' of the travel industry and we are extremely proud to be awarded the best in the private jet chart industry in the world for the sixth consecutive year. This accolade serves as a culmination of another landmark year we've had for 2012 after experiencing a remarkable business performance," said Shane O'Hare, CEO of Royal Jet.
"This award is dedicated to all our hard working staff and to the vision and leadership of our chairman, His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, and the entire board of directors. We will continue to set the benchmark in this industry by providing excellent services to our customers," O'Hare added.
Royal Jet has also reported its busiest-ever year in 2012 for medical evacuation (Medevac) missions - up by 10 per cent over another record year in 2011 and with a total of over 1,650 missions to date.
