BALTIMORE (AP) ? Gov. Martin O?Malley is scheduled to make the first call on a new statewide radio communications system for first responders.
The governor is scheduled to talk about the digital system on Tuesday during an event at the World Trade Center at Baltimore?s Inner Harbor.
The system is called the Maryland First Responders Interoperable Radio System Team. It?s designed to provide state agencies and local jurisdictions with a secure radio system for emergency communications.
