Top Sports Facilities in Arizona | Area Codes Basketball

Kroccenter

Phoenix, AZ ? I have seen several gymnasiums and so many sports venues go up and come down just as fast as in one year.

Many facilities don?t last 24 months due to the overhead involved and the owners or directors in charge. Arizona is a hot bed for youth sports and I will give you the places to be.

I have been in Arizona long enough to know what works and what will not. As a basketball tournament and event director I research daily as Area Codes Basketball is the one stop, phone call away for advice for many directors. Advice on where to go and where to stay away from.

I have sat down with each of the follow facilities below and I will tell you that the following will be here to stay and have affordable rates. Rentals to club team practices for not only basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and all sports. Tournament directors can also feel free to let us know when your event is and we can help you get a first class facility for your event.

Here we go as we list the top sports facilities in Arizona. (mainly Phoenix metropolitan area)

PHOENIX SOUTH MOUNTAIN KROC CENTER ? I have never seen any place like this in Arizona. From the time I walked in the front door I was greeted by a very professional, clean cut, uniformed staff. The 16 acre sports complex has everything you need. All included in your membership. Memberships as low as $10 a month and after being open since May 22, 2012 the membership base is over 4,000. Leagues in most sports will including basketball starting soon for all ages and this facility is also available for rentals and birthday parties. Check it out www.psmkroc.org

COURT ONE ? The newest of the facilities in Tempe. I have been to Court One a couple of times and they have top notch ownership. The state of art 45,000 square foot multi purpose facility is located just minutes east of interstate I-10 freeway and Warner Road. Featuring 9 volleyball courts and 4 NBA size basketball courts we have the only place on the east valley that will not go anywhere, solid ownership that owns the building, not lease. Court One has several camps, clinic and tournaments for volleyball and basketball. Adult and youth volleyball and basketball leagues are also ran out of this facility. Personal training in both sports also are available at Court One. Known for hosting several club team rentals in both volleyball and basketball, The ASU Student Recreation Complex is also known as the SRC, features 8 basketball courts total with the SRC, PE East and PE West. This is the only place with as many courts being the largest complex for basketball in Arizona. For volleyball the SRC can run over 15 courts. Arizona State runs basketball camps at this venue in the summer and it is a nice set up for showcases and tournaments as I have been to a few in the SRC. Many of their facilities are available to rent for events including tournaments for basketball and volleyball, conferences, classes, tennis courts, pool, racquetball courts and sand volleyball courts. ASU SRC will not go anywhere it was founded in 1885 and only will improve. The rentals are very reasonable and the cheapest in town so let me know if you need the contact.
